Ringing in the New Year with a NYE bargaining session!

Hi everyone,

Tonight’s bargaining session was brief, but informative. We asked probing questions that brought us closer to understanding the university’s resistance to our latest counter proposal.

We caucused and voted on our next moves. We return to the bargaining session with a written counter proposal tomorrow morning at 10:00am. We will have a caucus first thing in the morning starting at 8:30am [link here]. As always, we anticipate votes taking place in caucus, so we hope you’ll join us with a cup of tea or coffee and make your voice heard.

What better way to demonstrate solidarity than spending the last day of the year together in caucus and at the bargaining table fighting for full unit recognition. Get some sleep, see you in the morning!
