Grievances

The Grievance Committee is responsible for coordinating and managing grievances brought by SWC members, as well as managing grievance training for all Stewards and interested SWC members, both elected and unelected. We are responsible for ensuring that the rights of individual members in the workplace are respected and for representing the interests of individual members with respect to their working conditions.

The NDH coordinates all efforts related to discrimination of any form, abusive or intimidating behavior, power-based harassment, sexual harassment, assault, and rape within the union, between the Union and the University as well as on campus in general. The NDH is tasked with advising the BC and other committees with regard to these issues.
